  • What are the shipping charges?

    Njom Njoms has partnered with The Courier Guy to ship locally (Gauteng) and nationally within South Africa.

    Courier fees are direct charges from the courier comapny.

    Local deliveries (within Gauteng) within the basic volumetric size start at R99.00. This includes all orders that fit into a 50 x 40 x 30 cm box or 15kg – whichever is reached first. Orders larger than this will go up in R15 increments. Our shipping calculator will work this out for you once your shipping details are plugged in. 

    National deliveries work on the same principle but starting at R138.00. This includes all orders that fit into a 50 x 40 x 30 cm box or 15kg – whichever is reached first. Orders larger than this will go up in R15 increments. Our shipping calculator will work this out for you once your shipping details are plugged in.

    Remote areas may be liable for additional charges as stipulated by our courier partner but otherwise follow the same formula as national deliveries.

    From time to time the shipping calculator may over or under charge. It is your responsibility as the customer to query this charge with us before paying. Paying the full shipping amount is an acceptance for the shipping charge as is.

  • When will I receive my order?

    We dispatch orders from Tuesday to Friday every week. Orders are packed from Tuesdays to Thursdays.

    Local orders (Gauteng) can be expected as next day delivery once collected by the courier.  Cape Town and other major hubs takes around 2-3 days and outlying areas around 3-5 days.

    Filling orders can take up to a week. During peak times (payday order rush), please expect delays in filling orders due to the increased volume of orders.

    Njom Njoms will send your shipping confirmation and waybill number when your order is booked in with the courier.

    Wooden Range: Our wooden range, as noted, have a lead time of 2-3 week to manufacture. These are “on order” items meaning we do not keep stock and production of the item only begins when order is confirmed.

    Woven Range: Our woven range, as noted, have a lead time of 2-3 week to manufacture. These are “on order” items meaning we do not keep stock and production of the item only begins when order is confirmed.

    Order on “backorder”: some items are always in production but can have a backlog due to popularity (most often our dried fruit range). Please allow up to 3 weeks for this to finish production and be filled. We take great pride in our products and try to ensure the best quality. This means that some processes are slow as we do not take shortcuts (we do not add accelerants or preservatives when drying our fruit as to keep it as natural and safe for your furkids as possible, this means it takes some time). If you need something in a rush – check in with us!

  • I’m looking for a product that I cannot find?

    We’re constantly updating our product range. Some of our older products may no longer be listed. Pop us a mail and we will see what can be done to help you out!

    Perhaps we are yet to stock the product you are looking for? Pop up a mail with the description and possibly an image and we will see what we can do!

  • How do I pay for my order?

    We have three payment methods! Credit or debit card online payments via Yoco, EFT and SnapScan. Please use your order number/ID as your payment reference when making payment via EFT and SnapScan.

    Yoco Online Payment: 

    Just like a regular payment gateway, pay via credit or debit card at checkout. Accepting Visa and Mastercard.

  • I’d like to collect my order?

    You can collect your order at either of two locations!

    A. Pepper and Co in Blairgowrie, Johannesburg – we typically deliver orders here once a week. Please wait for confirmation that your order has been delivered to the collection address.

    B. Our workshop in Broederstroom, Hartbeespoort – please wait for us to confirm that your order has been packed and is ready, we will then schedule a pickup time. Note: This is a workshop and not a storefront.

    How:

    1. Select this option instead of courier at checkout.
    2. Confirm your order by making payment via EFT or Snapscan.
    3. We’ll let you know when your order is ready to be collected.
    4. Arrive, pickup and be on your way! It’s that simple.

    Collection during COVID-19: Please make sure to follow all guidelines as set out by the DoH and NCID. Customers must wear a mask during the collection.
