- What are the shipping charges?
Njom Njoms has partnered with The Courier Guy to ship locally (Gauteng) and nationally within South Africa.
Local deliveries (within Gauteng) within the basic volumetric size start at R80.00. This includes all orders that fit into a 50 x 40 x 30 cm box or 15kg – whichever is reached first. Orders larger than this will go up in R15 increments. Our shipping calculator will work this out for you once your shipping details are plugged in. Very small orders that can fit into an A3 flybag are R60.00 – if you believe your order will fit into this size and the shipping calculator has not worked this out for you, you’re welcome to mail us about it with your order details.
National deliveries work on the same principle but starting at R125.00. This includes all orders that fit into a 50 x 40 x 30 cm box or 15kg – whichever is reached first. Orders larger than this will go up in R15 increments. Our shipping calculator will work this out for you once your shipping details are plugged in.
Remote areas may be liable for additional charges as stipulated by our courier partner but otherwise follow the same formula as national deliveries.
From time to time the shipping calculator may over or under charge. It is your responsibility as the customer to query this charge with us before paying. Paying the full shipping amount is an acceptance for the shipping charge as is.
- When will I receive my order?
During lockdown we have very limited paws available to prepare products and pack orders. We will only be dispatching orders once a week, typically on a Wednesday. By doing this, we are also reducing our social interactions and so assisting in “flattening the curve”.
Local orders (Gauteng) can be expected as next day delivery (typically Thursday). Cape Town and other major hubs takes around 2-3 days for delivery and outlying areas around 3-5 days.
Njom Njoms will send your shipping confirmation and waybill number when your order is booked in with the courier.
Wooden Range: Our wooden range, as noted, have a lead time of 2-3 week to manufacture. These are “on order” items meaning we do not keep stock and production of the item only begins when order is confirmed. Production will only commence once lockdown has lifted.

- I’m looking for a product that I cannot find?
We’re constantly updating our product range. Some of our older products may no longer be listed. Pop us a mail and we will see what can be done to help you out!

- How do I pay for my order?
We have three payment methods! Credit or debit card online payments via Yoco, EFT and SnapScan. Please use your order number/ID as your payment reference when making payment via EFT and SnapScan.
Yoco Online Payment:
Just like a regular payment gateway, pay via credit or debit card at checkout. Accepting Visa and Mastercard.

- I’d like to collect my order?
We’ve now added the option to collect your order from our workshop in Randburg, Johannesburg by appointment only. Please note that customers will only be able to collect their confirmed order with an appointment – collection is from our workshop and not a storefront.
- Select this option instead of courier at checkout and forgo the shipping fee.
- Confirm your order by making payment via EFT or Snapscan.
- We’ll let you know when your order is ready to be collected and arrange a collection appointment with you.
- Arrive, pickup and be on your way! It’s that simple.
Collection during COVID-19: Please make sure to follow all guidelines as set out by the DoH and NCID. Customers must wear a mask during the collection.
